This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on the website at kodyva.com, what they are for and how you can manage your preferences.
What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. The browser's local storage (localStorage) similarly keeps information on your device. In this policy we refer to both as "cookies".
Categories we use
- Essential and preference cookies: needed for the site to work and to remember choices you make explicitly (language, theme, cookie choice, tracking codes). They do not depend on consent and are never used for advertising or tracking.
- Analytics cookies (optional): used by Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager for visit statistics. They load only if you choose "Accept".
- Advertising / marketing cookies: not used.

| i18n_redirected | Cookie · preference | Remembers the language you chose. | 1 year |
| nuxt-color-mode | localStorage · preference | Remembers your light / dark theme choice. | Until you clear it |
| kodyva_leads | localStorage · essential | Keeps the tracking codes of requests you sent in this browser ("My Requests"). | Until you clear it |
| _ga, _ga_<id> | Cookie · analytics (Google) | Distinguishes visitors and sessions to produce statistics. | Up to 2 years · consent only |
The admin panel, used only by the site administrator, also uses the admin_auth and kodyva_owner cookies for its session; these are never set for visitors.
First-party visit statistics
To see which pages are visited we use a simple counter running on our own server. It does not use cookies and does not send data to a third-party analytics company, so it runs independently of cookie consent, based on our legitimate interest in securing and improving the site.
Each page view records the page path, referring address, browser information (user-agent) and your IP address. The country is determined from the IP address with an offline database on our server (IP Geolocation by DB-IP, https://db-ip.com, CC BY 4.0); to separate bots, the network (ASN) of the IP is also checked with an offline database on our server (RouteViews, NRO, DB-IP — CC BY 4.0). The IP address is never sent to a third party. Records containing an IP address are kept for at most 12 months. This data is never used for advertising or profiling. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Google Analytics and Consent Mode
Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager are not currently active on this site. If they are enabled in the future, they will still load only with your consent.
Google Consent Mode v2 is used: by default every Google storage permission is set to "denied". When you accept, only analytics storage (analytics_storage) is granted; advertising permissions (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) always stay off. When you withdraw consent, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted.
For how Google processes data, see: policies.google.com/privacy
How to change your preferences
- Use the "Cookie preferences" link at the very bottom of the page to reopen the notice and change your choice at any time.
- You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Deleting essential entries makes the site forget your language, theme and tracking codes.
